Here's everything you need to know about the 2024 VHLL Fall Ball Season!
When is it?
A: The registration period is August 1st to August 15th. Fall ball starts on September 5th, everyone will check in at the Majors field. Fall ball will run until October 28th on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 5:00pm. The 7-11 age groups will be 2 hours depending on daylight, while the 3-6 age groups will be 1 hour.
Q: What does it cost?
A: $75 per player. This fee includes a VHLL Fall Ball Jersey.
Q: How is it different than the spring season Little League at Village Hills?
A: Fall Ball is typically more casual and more focused on instruction rather than competition. Some days will be focused on skills and drills while other days will be pickup games. There are no set teams, standings or scores.
Q: Where is it?
A: VHLL fall ball will be at the Village Hills Little League fields (300 Albireo Avenue).
Q: What are the levels of play?
A: We will have 4 age groups for fall ball based on age and experience. To start with, players will sign up by age (see table below). Depending on the number of kids that sign up, volunteer availability, and experience of the players, the players may move from one group to another.

Q: Are there skill evaluations in Fall Ball?
A: There will not be formal skill evaluations, however, in the first few week's volunteers will observe the players and may move them from one group to another so they’re playing in a safe environment with their peers.
Q: What if my kid plays soccer, or other sports, or can’t make it to every day of Fall Ball?
A: Fall Ball is a more flexible program than Spring and many kids play two, if not three sports during the Fall. While we encourage your child to be present for as many days as possible, if your child will make more than half the Fall Ball season, you should still sign up, just let the volunteers know.
